AA 012: First Dates, DTR, & The Meaning of Love

Aaaand we’re back with some more dating questions! In this episode, we share some of our own dating experiences and discuss what we think a good first date is, who should pay, how soon someone should make a move, and when you should define the relationship (DTR). Chivalry is another big topic in this ep – is it dead? Do we even want it? What impresses us on a date? We also talk about what to do when you’re interested in two people at once. Is it really possible to love two people at once? We also discuss how dating traditions have evolved over time and how that has created a lot of confusion for those of us currently in the dating game.

AA 011: Backstabbing Bitches and Jealous Friends

On this week’s episode we’re talking all about UNHEALTHY FRIENDSHIPS! Let’s be real – we all have that friend. We discuss jealous friends, backstabbers, and how to deal with people you just don’t click with anymore. We also talk about roommate drama, boyfriend-stealers, copycats, and more. When do you decide to end a friendship? When do you give someone a second chance? Why do we continue being friends with people who treat us so poorly? What does it mean to really be someone’s friend? Warning: you might majorly reevaluate some of your friendships after this one.

Could YOU relate to any of these situations? Send in your responses – we’d love to hear from you! If you have a question you want us to answer or topic you want us to discuss, you can submit it on our website (www.actuallyadultish.com). AA 010: What We Would Tell Our 17-Year-Old Selves – Chill the F Out

This week we’re reminiscing on our 17-year-old selves and discussing what advice we would give ourselves if we had the chance. We talk about how much we’ve changed since being seventeen and how different things are in college. If we could go back, we would definitely give ourselves some tips about studying, health, applying to colleges, appearance, friendships, parents, and relationships. The underlying theme, though, is that we basically needed to CHILL THE F OUT. In such a competitive world, it was easy for us to take life too seriously and to spend too much time doing things that didn’t make us happy. At the end of the day, gotta put yourself first!

What would you tell your 17-year-old self if you had the chance? Any revelations since becoming an adult? Let us know!

If you have a question you want us to answer or topic you want us to discuss, you can submit it on our website (www.actuallyadultish.com). AA 009: Drinking Our Way Through Tinder

In this episode, we’re discussing dating apps. Specifically, TINDER. We share some stories we’ve heard from our friends as well as a few that YOU GUYS sent in about both good and bad Tinder experiences.

We decided we needed to test out the app for ourselves, so you’ll get to join us as we create profiles and try to find matches! Bear with us as we try to figure this out… In the end, we talk about how dating apps make us feel, if we think they should be the norm, and what effects they have on our generation.

AA 008: The Bachelorette Finale and Ice Cream Scone Sandwiches

In this episode, a few of our friends join us as we podcast while watching the finale of The Bachelorette. Who will Jojo choose – Jordan or Robby? Warning: Don’t listen to this if you don’t want to know who wins! You’ll get to hear our reactions, comments, and more!

As we devour the amazing ice cream scone sandwiches Christina baked for the finale (recipe will be on her blog – www.addictedtolovely.com – this week!), we also discuss Bachelor in Paradise, Ben and Lauren’s new reality show, and who we think will be the next Bachelor.

Let us know what you thought about the finale! Do you think Jojo made the right decision?

AA 007: How to Spot a Fuckboy, Ghosting, & Are Fuckgirls a Thing?

On this week’s episode, we’re talking about shady guys and girls. Specifically, FUCKBOYS. We have a very special guest this week to help us out… Kailyn’s boyfriend, Garrett! We thought we could use a male’s perspective on this one. Who else would be better to help us understand fuckboys than a former fuckboy himself? Garrett helps us determine how to spot a fuckboy and why guys do the things they do.

After we interrogate Garrett for a few minutes, we move on to answering your questions. We talk about feeling guilty after dealing with a fuckboy and what to do when someone ghosts you. We also discuss the need for the term “Fuckgirl” – let’s be real, there’s a lot of ’em.
